I really enjoyed Jim’s reading and everyone’s discussion that followed. What a strong response!
But I broke the rules, a bit. Rather than write about Resurrection, I was moved to write a haiku of the words of the person standing at the graveside:

    I sway, asking God
“Why did take him right now?”
    (We need him right here.)

    • When it comes to prompted writing, there are no rules. We can write in any form, and in any voice. We can respond directly or indirectly to the prompt. The act of writing can lead to a different or unexpected level of understanding.

Great speaking with Jim after our session.

Jim said, “I was 11, my father told me, “Scott isn’t going to make it”, it was February, it snowed at the burial.”
I thought- “I was 10, my mother told me, “Daddy isn’t going to make it”, it was February, it snowed at the burial.”
